This Porsche Speedster replica was built by Vintage Speedsters in 2003 with the fit and finish that will please the most discerning buyer. Not to be confused with "kit cars", this is a factory-built reproduction that meets the highest standards.

This Speedster is finished with a brilliant black exterior that is in very good condition, having only a few stone chips on the front hood. The car has been continuously garaged and so the paint looks virtually new. The tan leather interior perfectly complements the black exterior, giving a luxurious look to this very sporty model. The tan carpeting is in like-new condition and has the optional front coco mats to add a further level of protection. The top is tan and has been used only on rare occasions and the side curtains are in similarly good condition. This car also has the optional—and very attractive—fully carpeted trunk area. There is no part of this car that isn’t a pleasure to look at!

Powered by an air-cooled 4 cylinder 1776cc engine that develops 90hp linked to a 4-speed fully synchro transmission, this car is a spirited performing sports car that is fully a match for its Porsche namesake. This Speedster has several performance features that were offered as options: the larger engine, a 3:88 transmission upgrade, front disk brakes and a Special Performance Exhaust. It is fitted with the correct 165R15 tires and wheels.

Other options that were fitted to this car include: a Nardi wooden steering wheel, competition headlight guards, a chrome rear luggage rack, and chrome bumper guards. To ward off the chill of cold mornings, this car is fitted with an additional electric heater that supplements the factory-installed heater.

Having gone through a Virginia safety inspection as well as our own, you can rest assured that all of the safety equipment (lights, signals, horn, wipers, seatbelts) function as they should. As an added bonus, this car qualifies for antique tags in Virginia, thereby removing it from emission requirements in this state.
