Description:
Our 1966 is best described by one adjective: CLEAN. The exterior glistens and the interior is fresh. This is a Mustang that makes you feel good to look at or sit in.
Finished in Wimbledon White, the body is virtually free of nicks and chips, although from certain angles one can detect some shallow dents in the hood. There is no evidence of rust on the body, and the chrome is in very nice condition. This is a car that you would give a second look as you passed by.
The interior is black vinyl that has all been redone and looks virtually brand new. The black carpeting has also been recently replaced and the car has a new set of Mustang floor mats. Looking in the trunk, the car has the correct period trunk pad and rear tire cover. Speaking of tires, this Mustang has four Pirelli P300 185/75/14 radials that have at least ¾ of their tread life remaining.
The car is powered by Ford’s economical and reliable 6 cylinder engine that starts right up and runs well. The automatic transmission operates properly, making the car a reliable performer.
All of the safety equipment works properly with the exception of the horn. The car comes with a Sony AM/FM/CD radio that, along with a new set of speakers, has yet to be installed. The fuel and oil pressure gauges appear to function properly, but the amp and temp gauges do not.
This Mustang is well priced and a head-turner because it is so clean. This is a car that will be equally at home at the golf course, a Friday-night cruise-in or the grocery store. If you have been looking for a Mustang at a reasonable price, this is a car that you will want to see.
