2003 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic, 2900 One Owner Miles

Year:  2003
Make:  Harley-Davidson
Model:  Road King Classic
Price:  $11,900

Description:

Normally we don’t take in motorcycles on consignment, but with this bike we made an exception because of its condition and provenance.  Harleys are very popular because of their size, reliability and the fact that they are made in the USA.  There are a lot of other bikes on the road but none share the same place in our hearts as those that come out of the production facilities of this Milwaukee-headquartered company.

This 2003 Road King Classic is a one-owner bike, specially ordered by the owner from the factory.  It is finished in Sterling Silver & Vivid Black and has been ridden only 2900 miles by its 50ish businessman owner.  The owner is a knowledgeable car collector (which is our connection to him) having among his collection some of the nicest—and rarest—of the American classic cars.

He has treated this Harley with the same care that he gives to his car collection.  The bike is so clean that you would think it had been sitting on the Harley showroom floor for the past seven years, but it gets ridden regularly to keep it functioning as new.

In addition to some optional chrome items, this Road King Classic was ordered with the Rinehart exhaust system and a Power Commander ignition system.  Its 88 cubic inch V-twin engine starts immediately and has all the acceleration that these bikes are known for.  The transmission shifts correctly and the brakes bring it quickly and safely to a stop from speed.

This Classic was well equipped from the factory with windshield, bags, and running lights.  The exhaust and ignition upgrades makes it truly a special bike that will bring its new owner speed, sound and reliability in what is essentially a brand new Harley.
