Description:
This 2004 Audi A-4 Quattro has the 1.8 turbocharged engine option,
and has Audi’s 4 year/50,000 mile factory warranty, with free scheduled
service, through August 14, 2007. This car, one of our owner’s family
cars, was purchased new in Charlottesville, Virginia and has been driven
only 29,338 miles. The car is in very good condition, cosmetically and
mechanically, as the mileage would suggest.
This Audi is finished with the Cambridge Green Pearl Effect factory
paint option with a beige leather interior. The color combination is one
of the nicest available on the cars in that model year. In preparation
for sale, the typical parking lot dings and encounters were repaired and
the body is excellent condition with the exception of one minor abrasion
in front of the right rear wheel well that cannot be seen on the
pictures. Also, parallel parking is always a challenge and there are
scuff marks on three of the wheels.
Mechanically, the car is perfect and has been regularly serviced by
Audi. The car has a 4 year/50,000 mile warranty and, during that time,
all regularly scheduled service is free. The four year period expires in
mid-August, 2007. The car has never required any work other than routine
maintenance. The 1.8 liter turbocharged engine is peppy yet economical.
The EPA highway fuel economy listing is 28 mpg, but on a recent 200 mile
trip the car’s computer showed 33 mpg fuel consumption.
The Quattro all-wheel drive system is great, making this car track
easily through inclement weather conditions. The all-season 235/45R17
Pirelli tires (which are part of the Sport Package) further add to the
all-weather capability. The car is equipped with the 5-speed automatic
Tiptronic transmission, enabling both automatic or manual gear changes.
The car is fully optioned with the exception of satellite radio and nav.
